OAXACAN BARRO NEGRO CANDLESTICK
...my latest flame
These candlesticks hail from Oaxaca, Mexico. They are made of "barro negro" or "black clay”, with a subtle sheen first devised by a potter named Doña Rosa in the 1950’s by polishing the clay before firing. These burnished beauties look great in pairs or throuples in the center of the table and are the perfect height for having presence amongst alternating flower arrangements. 7”w x 7.75”h
Part of the “Cinco De Mayo” collection. Pair with Mexican Church Tapers.
