WAFAA TABLECLOTH-TO-THE-FLOOR
...make waves
…Mexican waves - which is what this energetic pattern reminds me of Christmas Eve back home in Corpus Christi, Texas is more like Feliz Navidad, complete with chicken tortilla soup and tamales. I plan on setting the table with Manzoni Pietro Service Plates for helpings grande and coordinating bowls for the sopa. I’ll scatter Canel’s chiclet gum like confetti for a bit of nostalgia and plant Fiesta Noisemakers at each place setting for a Selena sing-a-long during dessert. “Late at night when all the world is sleeping”, we’ll be partying.
We created these exclusive elements using fabric from Tulu Textiles, which is helmed by the talented Elizabeth Hewitt, who lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey. Elizabeth is a natural-born storyteller, and her fabrics are visual versions of stories told over one or ten cocktails. Tulu’s fabrics are hand printed by master printers in Rajasthan. This one is a 50/50 Cotton-Linen blend natural beauty. Wash cold delicate and lay flat to dry.
Generously sized (96”x156”) to fit an 8' x 36" folding table, dropping to the floor.
Part of the “Cinco De Mayo” collection. Pair with the matching Wafaa Dinner Napkins and Wafaa Tortilla Warmer or strike contrast and dress her up with Openwork Dinner Napkins. Our Picante Fringed Table Lamp Shades are made to coordinate perfectly with the spicy red.
