Pigments and precious metals hand-applied on Empire shape porcelain in designs inspired by 19th century ornithological illustrations of various species of birds perched on intricate festoons. Images are framed by floral motifs delicately highlighted by Richard Ginori’s specially formulated pure gold edging. Each figure reproduces every hue, detail, and colorful marking with a palette of more than fifty shades. The overglaze applied using a special firing process, protects the pigments’ sheen and is applied to the Impero shape. Made in Italy.
