PALM LEAF CAPE
...lord of the flies
This fantastical cape has been hand-woven from palm leaves in Guerrero, Mexico. Wear it to celebrate 'Guadalupe-Reyes' (Three Kings Day) on January 6th. Otherwise known as ”Día de Reyes”, the day has its own wonderful traditions in Mexico. The extravagant meals taken at Christmas and New Year are not repeated on Día de Reyes, but instead Rosca de Reyes (“Kings’ Loaf”) is eaten, usually with hot chocolate. Or greet your guests as Moctezuma for a tequila-laced Feliz Navidad. Dress up to coordinate with your family’s “Where The Wild Things Are” theme for trick-or-treating, or pair it with a speedo when you go south for winter. Whatever the cause, you are the life of the party. One size fits most.
