INDIAN BASKET
… fan the flames
The rich colors in this exotic pattern stand alone with a solid cloth or add strong layers to a Bohemian look. It creates an insane dreamscape with fat pink dahlias in the fall.
Five piece place setting includes dinner plate, dessert plate, bread & butter plate and tea cup with saucer.
Introduced in the 1850s, this pattern's original name was "East Indies Flowers". Much of the Oriental porcelain exported to Europe was shipped via East Indian companies, and the Eastern influence is further reflected in the Japanese-style arrangements portrayed here. Each piece is hand painted in Hungary with 24k gold accents.
