The Easter Bunny hides these confetti filled eggs. You might not find the Golden Egg, but you can chase your cousins around the lawn cracking these vibrantly colored eggs on their heads. Squeals, laughter and exhaustion as you shake the confetti sprinkles from your hair. Cascarones are a Mexican tradition close to my South Texas heart. Ours are made by hand in San Antonio, Texas. They ship by the dozen in various egg cartons wrapped with Easter grass and a silk bow. It makes a charming hostess gift.
