Excess. This porcelain Japanese nut or candy service works well, of course, for nuts, or olives. Serve raspberries on the side of cake, garnishes for caviar, or float gardenias in late summer. Each bowl is much larger than the typical sets I find. The Geisha pattern looks divine with Mottahedeh’s Lexington Plates. Good vintage condition.
