In South Texas, jalapeño is a food group. I like a good spur with my stir, so I’ve mixed up with Gris Gris for a collaboration. Use a Vintage Silver Cocktail Stirrer and Chartreuse Twist Pitcher to mix this simple syrup with tequila or mezcal or try it in seltzer water or ginger beer with a big lime wedge and a giant ice cube on a hot day. Here’s our favorite recipe:

- 2 oz. Jalapeño Hex Simple Syrup
- 6 oz. Ginger Beer
- 2 oz. Tequila (or more ginger beer)
- Half a lime of juice
- 2 Stems of Mint
