ANTIQUE 19TH C. ETRUSCAN SUNFLOWER PITCHER

$382
... face to the sun

This stunning sunflower pitcher bears the hallmark of the largest and best known of the American majolica manufacturers, Griffen, Smith, and Hill of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. It is a wonderful 19th-century example of Edwardian majolica that has never been repainted. The lovely pink glaze on the inside is so happy as the pitcher awaits a fat bunch of sunflowers clipped from weekends away. It is in remarkably good condition for its age. Circa 1880's. The pitcher is 5 7/8" high spout to base and measures 6" handle to spout.

Part of our "Merry Muscaria" collection.
