Rider-Waite Tarot has set the standard for hundreds of other tarot decks, which follow the archetypal images created by Pamela Colman Smith in 1909. The symbols and imagery used in this giant tarot deck were influenced by the 19th-century magician Eliphas Levi, the fin de siècle, and the Arts and Crafts movement. Smith’s vibrant drawings on all 78 cards allow interpretations without the need to consult the booklet. Use them as place cards or drop a hint.
